Vanessa says hello, says she loves you so
She remembers all those past years: those times
When you would take her by the hand
Having so much fun on those old show rides
The Mad Mouse, the Matterhorn, the others too
Oh how much she loved going on those rides with you
You went on any ride she asked you to
Just being a great big kid: that was you
Yesterday we took a trip down memory lane
Went to the show but it just wasn't the same
We did it in your honour: tried to enjoy the day
But honey no matter what we did
