Everyone's feeling the pinch

Shops are closing
Businesses shutting down
So many people losing
Everything they own
Lord how do we survive?
How do we make ends meet?
What do we do with all these?
Homeless people in the streets?
People are searching everywhere
Tipping everything upside down!
Looking for their coins
Counting out their pennies
Adding up their cents
Hoping to afford some little thing
Without any hope of recompense!
