A new life in an egg
Laid upon a tasty leaf
The butterfly trusts
In the dear Lord
To raise her kids!
After a while
The caterpillar emerges
It eats that tasty leaf
God has provided!
Soon a cocoon is made
A chrysalis to hide in
A place to bide time in
While the miracle
Takes place!
Just a short while later
A beautiful butterfly
Emerges to take on
It's precious God-given life!
