How could Hitler's murdering have been allowed?
Less than one hundred years ago in our earth's history
What a shame that one man could cause so much pain
So much destruction to so many lives: without a second thought!
Oh Lord how could this happen: maybe about to happen again!
Where are these men's consciences? What madness in their heads?
No kind thoughts for any others: just hatred & power hungry posturings
So many lives destroyed: so many people caught up in this madness!
World War 1 then World War 2: what if this mess in the Middle East
Becomes World War 3? Armageddon in our time?
There is not enough love in the world: too many selfish people think
That they have the God-given right to destroy & kill in His name!
Lord help us! So many countries think nothing of testing bombs
In our oceans: in our deserts: in our atmosphere: any where they deem fit!
So many think it their right to kill & maim, torture & murder others!
Does no-one care enough to think before they pull out guns?
Kill masses of innocent ones just going about their daily lives
Simply because they had a bad day & want to take out others
God help us! What is this world coming to?
When will man learn? Will man ever realise that Jesus' love rules: not hate!
