Here are a few words I haven't heard
For many, many years: witches' britches!
I remember having a pair of these
When I was just a little girl in primary school
They were very popular back in the 60's (I think!)
They were like long johns (going down past our knees)
With lace on the bottoms: cute & fancy!
My mum looked at a pair of Evaleah's pants & said
"I like her pretty pink witches' britches!"
It all came rushing back to me
My blue striped witches britches
From all those many long years ago!
