My dad was the big boss
After the other man was sacked
He'd stolen goods you see
Yes that man had been theiving
So dad became the boss
Many long, long years ago
When he was really just starting out
He was only about 17 back then
Big responsibility for him
He handled it well: so he said
He didn't really get a big head
Just got on with it as best he could
Doing his job like any worker should!
