The winds are blowing in a new day
Stars still bright in the night sky: pray
Stormy weather brings a new grey
Storm clouds thunder across the bay
Choppy waves crash upon the beach
Sands of time are blowing out of reach
How much longer can this poor earth last?
Suffering as she does this icy blast
Though the times are growing warmer
Still the nights are getting stormier
I listen to the rain upon my roof
Waiting for Jesus' coming: God's proof
That the end days are near at hand
Make haste to choose the right band
Time passes quickly: the future is here
Will you be ready as time draws near?
