After the rain

After the rain falls down
Upon this dry old earth
That's when it all happens
That's when those new
Grass seeds burst forth
The kangaroos are happy
They finally have a bit
Of lovely green grass to eat!
It's been so dry and dusty
It's been so dismal mate
But now the days are changing
Now the time has come
For farmers to do their ploughing
For animals to congregate
And enjoy these sunny days
With something on their plate!
