Winter warmers

In winter time to keep me warm

I get out my crocheting hook

I sit and watch the telly

(Rather than doing puzzles

Or even reading a good book!)

I sit there and work hard at

Crocheting a blanket for someone

It doesn't matter about the colours

It doesn't matter about counting rows

I just sit and keep on going and 

That blanket just grows and grows!

I've made blankets for my grandsons

I've made some for my daughters

I've made one for my son!

I've made one for my hubby

I've made some for my in-laws

I've made one for my mum

Now I've just finished another one

This one's for my brother

It's his birthday next week

I didn't know what to get him

So this is what I made for him

I really hope he likes it!
