The gift of life

Yesterday was 5 years (5/5/2008)
A huge milestone for Elaine
5 years since her liver transplant
5 years since her life was saved!
The wonder of today's medicine
The wonder of today's amazing gifts
That the dear Lord could grant her wish
That the dear Lord was able
To help her live again!
Though someone was lost that day
Though one family mourned and cried
It was a miracle of medicine
That made it possible
For another's life to be saved!
Please grant the gift of life
Please be thankful for the possibility
Please make another family's prayer come true!
It can only happen when someone gives
That precious heartfelt gift
That sharing of your loved one's life
How blessed a gift to give
When you can save another's life!
