My mum and dad's house
Has two side fences
Two low fences for children
To look over and see
My children playing with me
Many years ago we played
Neighbours kids joined in too
First from one side
Now from the other
Then: they played with my three
Now: they play with my two grandsons
(Soon it will be three
Three grand-kids for me)
Three children next door
To see me playing
With my two grandsons
We all join in together
No matter what the weather
Always there is pleasure
Laughter together
For my children and me!
