The Phone call

Phone call received
Last Monday 22 July
Hubby Tim took the call
On the other end
A mother grieved
She was crying: upset for sure
"Thank You" she said
"You don't know me but
I know you from "The Leader"
Though her tears flowed
Her lost child remembered
Her sadness overflowed
She let me know
How much my letter explained
Her sadness noticed by that road
If only I could maybe lift a bit
That heavy load: she carries
Help grieving parents 
In some small way
Then that is all that's 
Necessary to make my day!
