My hubby used to ride his bike everywhere
All over Adelaide to meet his friends
For exercise: for fun: weekdays & week ends
He bought me a bike to take the trail with him
But It was way too scary as the traffic raced by
I was so worried that the traffic was too close
The pollution was terrible but what scared me most
Were those huge trucks that went roaring past
Almost knocking me off with their windy blasts
I hated the way some of them thought it so much fun
To honk on those bloody horns: just behind my tail
Tell you what I said to him: You continue on!
I'll stay at home & you can tell your tales but
Please leave me out of your adventure trails!
