Darkness and Light

We see darkness is just another
Aspect of the light"

Me and my shadow
We go everywhere together
We are never apart
Right from the very start
We have journeyed long 
To get where we are today
We are close and never will we part
One side is darkness
One side is light
Two halves of the whole
Just as it should be
For without the one
We would be as the sun
Too blindingly bright
For without the other
Who could appreciate the light
Yes together we are one whole part!
