The park

We waited for hours & hours while
Mummy & daddy were at the hospital
But we didn't get bored!
We walked around the whole park
Checking out all the best trees
We were looking for a suitable place
To make our cubby house!
We decided that the Moreton Bay fig trees
Were the very best for our needs!
Santiago & Zac had so much fun
Gathering sticks and small branches
To make our shelter on our island
Yes we were pretending
That we were the Swiss Family Andersson
Ship wrecked on a desert island
Making our home: making our bed of leaves
Catching some fish for dinner
Cooking on our pretend camp fire
Having a heap of fun to while away the time!
