Poor little Zac

Poor little Zac feeling a bit off track
Temperature soaring up & back
40 degrees in the dark of night
Poor mum having to get up & down
Worried for her poor little dear
As he struggles to get over this bug
Three nights of worry already gone
Today he was a little better at last
But the struggle's not over quite that fast
Still some time to pass before it's past
Panadol was barely working to cool his heat
Doctor's surgery just up the street
Took him in & asked for help
A new young doctor saw him first
Finally we heard that his throat was sore
Poor little darling: could take no more!
Nurofen was bought from the chemist
Antibiotics given to help him best
Finally my poor darlings got some rest!
