Though it's officially still winter
Sun was shining down upon us
I saw my first stumpy tail today
Snakes will soon be out & about
The old garden gate still stands
Fence posts & wire in strands
A couple of pieces of wood
I think that'll do pretty good
The rusty old clothes horse
Found that outside of course!
A ball if string & a pair of scissors
Willing hands & happy little misters
That's all we needed to make
A brand new castle by the gate
Santiago said he had lots of fun
We spent hours outside in the sun!
Even Zac was enchanted for sure
As we laboured to make our fort
The hedge needed trimming too
That's all the stuff we used!
As the discarded branches
Became our thatched roof!
