She would joke about

Though Evelyn was her given name
I was around them many time
Listening to them banter
Back and forth!
Laughter was just a part
Of their loving lives
One day as we were leaving
Nana said she'd "give her a ring"
You know; give her a phone call
Later on; after we'd taken her home
Aunt Imelda quickly piped up
"No, no! My husband gave me
One of those; it was no good!"
