I've been listening to the radio
Some good songs coming on
So many people unsure of their lives
So many people don't know what to believe
Too many don't pray to our Lord above
Too many still don't know of God's love!
"Some nights" comes to mind
He says "I still don't know what I stand for!"
Well I do! I stand for My Lord's love
I stand up for God above!

I stand up for telling the truth
I stand up for honesty and love
Praising the Lord above!
I stand up doing the right
I stand up for God's forgiveness
And His mighty love for us all!
Yes! That's what I stand up for!
