What is it about washing that makes me smile?
Maybe it's cos I love being outside in the sunshine
Maybe it's because everything smells good
When it's been aired outside on the lines
I love feeling the breeze in my hair; the sunshine on my face
Don't like doing the vaccuuming; that's a disgrace
Never do any ironing; hate that chore;
What do I need to do that for?
I don't mind doing the dishes most of the time
Mum bought me a dishwasher when I was pregnant with Michael
I got used to using that machine; it was so vital!
I try to stay active; I want to be around for quite a while
Want to enjoy life; share the laughter and smile!
But now I'm a Nana and I'm slowing down
But I still like my washing; hanging it on the line!
