Enough Rope

How about a turn-around? 
How about revenge? 
How about we play their game? 
Giving them the sharper edge
Give anyone enough rope 
Give them the benefit of the doubt 
Until they say too much
Until they hang themselves
So listen well to their spiel
Take note of everything they say
Then when they stuff it up 
Just turn around and say
You thought you were so smart
You thought you were so cool
But buddy just think on it 
I'm am wise to your game
Don't you have any shame? 
Get a life: get a job! 
Do something good 
“Cause people have feelings 
And just need to be understood 
So why not get off your bum
Get a proper job...
Or just get out and look around 
Life is passing by
Will you be one of the lot
Left behind when Jesus comes
Thinking you had it all
Then just before your fall
You will maybe realise?

At the wrong goal?
