What makes me smile?

What makes me smile? You ask

My relationship with my Lord!

That we communicate without speaking!

That He knows all of me

And yet He loves me still!

What makes me smile? You ask

My love for my dearest Lord!

That I love Him with all my being!

That He gave His life for mine!

My sins He carried to the cross!

What makes me smile? You ask

My understanding heart!

That He gave me this blessed gift!

That He showers me with words!

I am His earthly instrument!

What makes me smile? You ask

My joy in serving Him!

That He calls me to His side!

That He opens wide His heart!

Of His beautiful family I am a part!

All these things make me smile

All these joys make life worthwhile

All these blessings come to those

Who allow Him to come inside?

Who ask Him to live within their hearts!
