Love's token

Love...
Has ever a truer word been spoken?
When one loves another and is broken
What is it that love desires?
Some trinket, some small token
Perhaps that look within her eyes
A soft caress, a warm embrace...
When no words need be spoken...
Is this love that grows alive?
Is it that feeling deep inside?
That miracle indeed...
Sensed through-out...tingling
All over...no place untried...
When heart decries...love
No other could understand her fate
For she is love incarnate
That beauty...that desire...
Everything going haywire...
Senses screaming...
Lover's dreaming...
What token could he despise
When searching within her eyes
He finds that grace indeed...
He sees her reflected need
For is touch...his lips...
Is it too much?
To dream of this?
That heat within...
Searing, surging...
Heart springing...
Mind searching...
For that returned delight
That exquisite fright
When lovers kiss
At last...
He thinks...at last...we meet...
This first touch is indeed...
Love's most ardent token...
