The power of prayer

A gift from God almighty
The power of prayer...
And so...rightly
For has our Father...
Not promised us...
That...He hears us...
He will answer us...
Where two or more are gathered
Where a contrite heart cries out...
He is there in the heavens...
Simply waiting...
He hears our desperate prayers...
He knows before they fly...
Of our difficulties and our pain...
He is ready to acknowledge...
Ready to assist us...
Each and every day...
He sends his angels soaring...
He gives comfort where He can
For in loving us and caring...
He is our Father just as He claims
