There was trouble in heaven
When Lucifer decided it was time
He took the chance to split heaven
He committed the most heinous crime
He decided to take as His due
God's majesty, God's eternal flame...
He thought to steal away all our time
But God would never surrender up
His most precious divinity, His grace
So there was a war in heaven...
And all were made to choose...
Exactly whom it was they would serve...
Lucifer fell from heaven that very day
Took with him a third of that heavenly array
He was the shining angel until that very day
When he chose to deceive, chose to betray...
