My Lord is a simple God
He cares not where these feet have trod
He sees inside my heart and soul
He hears my songs and voice unsure
My Lord does love and care for all
No matter what we've done or when
He knows what we've been through
He sees inside and knows the truth
If only you could be like He?
You'd look into my heart and see
This my life I owe to Him
And as He draws aside death's dark veil
And descends from skies of deepest blue
He comes in fiery chariot of power
From mountain top to deepest vale
His voice is heard and all will see!
I'd give my life for such as Him
Because He gave His life for me!
