After confessing to some I knew
How the Lord had sent me help
From afar this help did come
And eased my pain for me
I was rebuked for daring to think
That the dear Lord had answered my prayers alone
In sending those healing hands just for me
"Why not?" I replied! Does the Lord not say?
"Ask and ye shall receive!"
So why then am I so rude?
To find the answer there
When believing in my heart and soul
That answers do come to those who pray
And in praying so: believe!
