At one ment

Jesus the Prince of life
Took to the battlefield
Against the prince of darkness 
He would not suffer loss
Jesus used all of God's armour
He battled fierce and long
Knowing it was for our lives
He was protecting: redeeming
He had to remain steadfast: strong!
He came from heaven up above
He came to fulfill that great need
He had to save us from disaster 
He had to save man: His children: His seed!

He was a man for all reasons
He became our saviour to His cost 
That we should be saved sinless
That we accept His life upon the cross
There he felt our sins upon Him
There he suffered to save us this cost
For could we have borne that struggle?
No: never: we would all be lost!

Thus came He to be our atonement
Thus came He to save us all
Knowing man would always fall short of heaven
Knowing His life was the necessary cost
He came to be our precious lamb
Sacrificed to give us hope
For as He died and went into heaven
He promised this to all of us
" I go to prepare a place for you
That where I am you too will welcome be
Only take my white robes of atonement
Accept this life I gave for you!"

So...have you finally decided?
Have you thought upon it all?
Do you accept the sacrifice of Jesus?
Do you seek "at one ment"
Are you at one with your precious Lord?
