To that specialist store
Didn't even really know
What I went in there for
Found myself looking round
There was a reason: I knew
Looked around without a sound
Until I spied the rack of stones
So many different little bits
I held my hand above them
Waiting for that simple sign
Knowing that I would find
That amazing tingling feeling
When my hand found just what
It was I knew I was looking for
I felt that tingling growing strong
I felt it and it was amazing to be sure
I was drawn to the Lapis Lazuli
That deep royal blue peace stone
I picked one out and held it close
Ah at last I felt the peace I sought
Took it to the counter there
Soon that tiny stone was bought
It sits within a tiny purse with strings
A precious little memento
That points to so many peaceful things!
The stone of peace and serenity
