Took a long, long drive
To visit my dear folks
It used to take 90 minutes
But now it takes 4 hours
We used to live in Sedan
Right in between the two
But now it is more difficult
Now it is a long, long drive
For 27 years it was the thing
Halfway in the country
Halfway to the city
And now it is so exhausting!
