Camouflage

The stingray uses camouflage
To avoid our gaze: to hide away
He settles down to become as nil
Hides: stays still and quiet until
Some fisher prey comes along
He darts away to live another day
Large schools of fish congregate
They know the drill: yes indeed mate
They know that all alone they fall
That's why they gather large and small
Some pretend to lie about
So you'll think they're ill
Then as you near: it's off in fear
Swim for your life little guy
Don't take that bait from the fisherman's fly
Oh no! Too late: time to die and
Appear on some angler's plate!
