Obedience

In prosperity: God tests our gratitude
In poverty: God tests our contentment
In darkness: God tests our faith
At all times: He tests our obedience...

How we react in all of life's situations
Shows our dearest Lord our inner heart
He knows the pressure we are under
Sees into our very souls: tests our mettle
Yes: every single day he looks down
From heaven up above: searching us
To see if we deal with brotherly love
Are we doing all we can my brother?
Are we doing all we can dear sister?
To love and care for our fellow man
Remember that whatever we do for another
Jesus accepts it as if we have done it for Him
Many blessings follow after: angels watch over us all
Keeping us safe from harm and danger
From heaven they follow God's directions
Obedient unto our mighty, loving Lord
