And the birds are singing
I wonder what this day is bringing...
Clouds obscure the sun...
But hey: what's done is done...
I am smiling as I rise and shine
Looking forward to another one
Of these blessed days...
I'm not complaining...
There are so many others
All over this sad world
Much worse off than me...
So I must remember good days
Kick up my heels and move along
Sing the words of a brand new song
God is good: God is great
Life is here to celebrate
Each day is to be welcomed in
To grumble and complain: a sin
