Pray out loud

Saw a miracle on Facebook: in the news today
A terrible car accident: a woman trapped
They couldn't cut her out: it was a mess
Everyone was trying to free her but...
The machinery just would not work I guess
A man came up: black shirt, white collar
Anointing oil in his hand: asked if he could pray
They were worried she would think the worst
Concerned: they almost turned him away
She said "yes please: pray for me: pray out loud!"
Everybody heard her say it: everyone said so
He prayed out loud and anointed her with oil
Then he said quietly that all would be well
The machinery would do its job: cut her out
Then he left as he had come: quietly disappeared
Nobody saw him go: nobody knew where he went
Later on as they checked it out: a miracle it seems
There was no trace of him in their photographs
He did not appear anywhere: as he should have done
He was an angel of the Lord; come down
To save a life that day: a miracle in the making
Yes indeed: He appeared to save her life
And then quietly: just went along his way...
