Our friends would drive up to Barmera
Towing their caravan and boat
Bringing our childhood friends
To have lots of fun at the water's edge
They'd come with Bondi and his family
A whole group of Hungarians
We'd visit and have our swims
Glorious barbecues as well
Mums and dads and friends together
Each and every summer time
They'd book a year ahead!
Susie and I would hire paddle boards
Go all over the south side of that lake
Lake Bonney in the summer time
Everybody had so much fun!
