Summertime!
Sunshine blinding
Azure blue cloudless skies
Big beautiful butterflies
Flowers blossoming everywhere
Birds singing without a care
Magpies yodelling
Big crows cawing
Swallows sailing high up
Playing; joyfully winging
Stumpy tails gather in the shade
Ants combing everywhere
Cats lazing among the pot-plants
The days seem never-ending!
But the days are shorter now
Soon our orbit will decay
Moonshine silver in the night
Darkness overtakes the light
Balmy summer nights are gone
A chill wind picks up its force
Summer goes upon its way
And autumn comes into play
Soon holds sway
