Last day of Summer

Last day of summer
Heat already gone
Sunshine seems a little duller
The wind blows colder now
Daylight passes more quickly
Night time lasts so long
The birds are growing quieter
They now sing their autumn song
Snakes and lizards getting lazy
Butterflies disappear into the skies
There are no whys or wherefores
The days are spinning out of control
