Down by the creek in Angaston
We had an hour to wait
Until we'd go to the doctor's rooms!
The day was hot and muggy
The sun was burning down
The shadows were so welcoming to us as
Frowns were turned upside down
We remembered some family fun
From many a long year ago
All five of us walking here
Under the hot Aussie sun!
It has always been such a special place
Like a jungle paradise
A fairytale's embrace
The pleasant greenery
The wonder of bit of wilderness
Right in the heart of the Barossa Valley
We said a prayer together
Asking the dear Lord to come along
So welcome where ever we go
In His beautiful, natural, wondrous land!
