Nana's mishap

Nana Lindy loved to go to mass
She was always at the Cathedral
Loved to catch a bus or two
Loved to travel around the city!
One day Richard got a call
Nana's bag was found
Someone had tossed it in a bin
The police were on the line
Where was she going?
What was her aim that day?
Was she home again?
Finally an embarrassed Nana explained:
A young woman had seen her
At the bank in King William St
Followed her as she went to mass
Sat right behind her
Asked a lot of questions about it all
Then as Nana Lindy went up 
To have communion
That wicked girl had grabbed her bag
Took all the money as she fled and 
Without a thought; 
Tossed her bag into the bin
Committing a terrible sin!
