Whilst browsing through an op-shop one day
I over heard a couple talking of their day
No money left for anything: went to ask for help
They were told they'd only just got help the other day
"Sorry but we can't help you as you have to wait
Another week: can't give you what you seek!"
They looked at each other: holding hands
Shrugged their shoulders and exclaimed the man
"Oh well: no pokies today!"
Gambling away their money seemed like the biggest joke
Cos they could ask for help to get them through
It's not fair if you ask me: that they should get anything
If all they do is throw it all away again!
Causing their families so much pain & suffering
By their irresponsible wasteful behaviour!
