The bean bag race

Primary school sport was not my forte
I was never very good at those games
I was a little shorty: too little to run fast
So I was so very happy to excel at one
The bean bag race was mine to win!
We had to run 20 metres with that bean bag
Staying balanced upon our little heads
I guess I was lucky: my head was flat on top
It was so very easy to balance it: not let it drop
I was usually the winner whenever it came along
I was so very happy to win for once: yes I was!
