Christmas wrapping paper is such a waste
Presents opened: tossed aside in our haste
What a wasteful people we have become
Dumping everything with such aplomb
So much over-packaging is the norm
To stop people stealing: that's the form
Every little tiny thing is wrapped up so tightly
Stops one from extracting things so forthrightly
Well now we have too much paper waste
Too much overdoing: over everything: what a shame!
