Who do you trust?

Looking around this earth of ours
I feel a little sad
Because I see so much strife and hatred
Men gone mad!
How has it all happened?
How has life gotten so bad?
Is there nothing we can really trust?
Is there nothing we can really believe?
What do you do when everything's up-heaved?
What is going on in this lovely world of ours?
So many using their most wonderful gifts
To make others sad!
Why is there so much strife and anger?
Why is there so much hate?
Why are families being pulled asunder?
And causing all these murderous escapades?
Lord, You have all the answers!
Lord, You are the most loving one!
Lord, when will all this fighting finally end?
Lord, when will all this strife be over and done?
So many different religions!
So many ready to fight for their beliefs!
When will we ever realize?
That love is the most important thing!
Love is the most powerful of all!
Love is the only thing we can count on in this storm!
The love of our dear Heavenly Father!
The love of our dear Christ!
Nothing else is worth as much
As the love dear God possessed
When He gave His only begotten Son
To take our sins away!
Paid such a heavy price for us
To save us from all of this...
