Thought to catch up with Gil and Laura
Dear friends from so many long years ago
My family spent so much time there
Working for their livelihood, picking fruit
Oranges and apricots, juicy peaches too
At beautiful Kingston-on-Murray
Nestled in along the River Murray, it's true
Fond memories of a time so long ago
Lingering here within my memories...
Gil and Laura celebrated 60 years of wedded bliss
On the 10th of October 2013
Yes they married 60 years before
Way back in October of 1943...
