Watch the words you speak
For by those words that you stutter
Justice shall be done 'ere you squeak...
Will you be left bare handed?
Will you regret those beards you tweak?
Will you be condemned by your anger?
Will you be lost for eternity?
Because of the stupid words you speak?
Think about each word that tumbles
From those lips you would hold together
Think about those thoughts that lie jumbled
Within your brain that is unclean...
Jesus knows each word you utter
He knows the ones you only ever think
He sees into your very heart and soul dear
Waiting for you to rise or fall...
By those very simple words you speak...
Christ declared:
"Every idle word that men shall speak
They shall give account thereof
In the day of judgement
For by thy words thou shalt be justified
And by thy words thou shalt be condemned"
