Reclaimed by Nature

Life goes on and on around us
Nature does not dance to our tune
Everything that is needed
Is accomplished when it is due
The seasons change around us
The world simply continues on
No matter what man proposes
Eventually, nature will take it back
Reclaim every tiny little piece in view...
So man goes on his merry way
Builds great edifices o'er and o'er
Steadily: man destroys life's beauty
Nature awaits the time when
Man sleeps: unaware of her power
Shatters him with great showers
Upheaval and destruction comes
When man assumes control of all
God takes back what man has taken
Returns all to balance: it's true...

Nature does not hurry...
Yet everything is accomplished
