For food it is the 'use by date'
Perishables go off: deteriorate
No longer edible: no longer safe
Time to toss them in the bin mate
Cannot be used: cannot be consumed...
For people it is the 'save by date'
When probation ends and God says
You've had your chance don't you know
But you took too long to your sorrow
Cannot be saved: cannot be redeemed...
So why then do you procrastinate?
Why do you delay your saving grace?
What must God do to show you true
What must God say to inspire you
That time is running out for you...
