It's funny that I remember
The very first time I heard
The album: Band on the Run
By Paul McCartney and Wings
I didn't think much of it...
Didn't like it at all actually
But after listening over and over
I can't imagine not liking it
Because it "grows on you"
It takes a while but then
It's like it becomes a part of you
An intimate part of your life...
A memory that lasts a lifetime...
I felt the same with Dido...
"I'm no angel" sounded strange
I listened whilst driving to Cadell
Many times over that time in 2001
The songs grew on me and now
I love the whole album...
Love the way she sings with such feeling...
Especially "Thank you"
Its a favourite and always will be...
