When we pray to our Father in heaven...
When we say that beautiful prayer Jesus gave us
Do we truly forgive others? Are we sincere?
Are we being honest as we ask our Lord?
Are we genuine in our entreaty?
Are we contrite? Are we honestly forgiving?
Are we guileless as we come near?
As our Lord sees into our very souls
He knows if we are truly sad...
He understands our deepest thoughts...
Nothing of what we profess to Him...
Is ever unclear...To Him who made us all...
We are transparent as a sheet of glass
What ever we think or feel...
Everything is crystal clear...
For God overlooks nothing...
From Him we can hide absolutely nothing...
Yes...for Him we are completely see-through...
