My new little grandchild is perfect
He/she is gorgeous
He/she rubbed his/her eyes
Just like mummy did nearly
28 years ago when I had
My first ultrasound!
In those days
Ultrasound pictures were new
And though the physical picture
Faded long ago: My mind
Still holds that precious snapshot
Of my precious daughter
When she rubbed her eyes
And kicked her legs
For me: all those years ago!
